CORK NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Cork on Saturday for his NAP running in the closing bumper at 3.58pm.
The ground has switched to heavy at Cork (and elsewhere!) on Saturday and it will be a real stamina test by the time the bumper comes around at 3.58pm.
It might be safest to rely on the Gordon Elliott trained Scarlett Witch.
The mare has a little bit of experience now, a factor I always like in extreme conditions, and she coped well in Wexford on heavy when third to Kicking Princess on her penultimate start. She has since finished second to what looked an above average winner at Thurles.
Chief BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE rival Croi Corcra brings multiple winning point form into the race and is clearly an interesting Rules debutant but she might find this on the sharp side on the back of five runs over three miles.
