CURRAGH SATURDAY NAP: SHAMROCK’S best bet on Saturday runs in the Group 3 Holden Plant Rentals Loughbrown Stakes at The Curragh.

Th official ratings suggest there won’t be much between Capri and the fast improving Kastasa who receives 10lb on the weight for age scale.
Capri often races in deep company but needs to bounce back after a disappointing effort in the Irish St Leger here last time when last of the 10 runners. Obviously this is easier company and he should be better suited by the give in the ground but Kastasa is improving at a rate of knots and may give him plenty to think about.
The Dermot Weld trained Kastasa has won four of her six career starts, including her biggest prize yet in a valuable Leopardstown handicap last time out. She should see out this extra distance and looks the one to be on.
