HYDRANGEA TO BLOOM: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the Lanwades Stud Stakes at the Curragh on 2,000 Guineas day.

The Lanwades Stud Stakes is the 4.45 on the card and this should go to Hydrangea who is comfortably clear on official ratings and is trainer Aidan O’Brien’s only runner in the Group 2 race.
She finished last season winning the British Champion Fillies and Mares at Ascot and that puts a huge marker down for her rivals.
Goldfish is also making her seasonal reappearance and remains unbeaten – she has won two Listed races at Dundalk but only by narrow margins and this is clearly much tougher.
