SHIELD obliged as the winning NAP at Dundalk last night – backed down to 1/2.
I’m keen on the chances of Indian Icon in the maiden hurdle at 1.25.
The Dessie Hughes trained runner has been knocking on the door lately and this race doesn’t look that competitive despite the 20 strong field.
Certainly a repetition of his second to Ivan Grozny at Naas last time out should be goodd enough.
A winner on the flat over seven furlongs, he seems to have taken well to hurdles and can win this. Moss Street is the danger but is already looking rather exposed and hard to win with.
