PYLON LOOKS CHARGED UP: SHAMROCK’s nap runs in the maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse on Saturday at 1.10pm.
The BETDAQ betting suggests that the Like Fairyhouse On Facebook Maiden Hurdle (Div 1) at 1.10pm is no way as competitive as it looks.
The 19 runner field is quickly whittled down on the form book to a match between the Willie Mullins trained Pylonthepressure and the hat-trick seeking Tombstone representing Gordon Elliott.
Preference is for Pylonthepressure who won his first two bumpers with the minimum of fuss and then ran creditably when stepped up in class to finish fifth to Bellshill in the Champion Bumper at Fairyhouse. This is his jumping debut under rules but he has also won a point to point.
Tombstone won a poor Down Royal bumper easily last time out and is another interesting jumping recruit but the Mullins runner may just have the most class of the pair.
