MONBEG TO MAKE A WINNING START OVER FENCES: SHAMROCK’s nap on Saturday runs in the beginners chase at Gowran Park.
Monbeg Notorious is my best bet of the day on the Gowran Park card as he makes his chasing debut.
He has already shown plenty of ability in bumpers and hurdles but looks set to do even better over fences.
He should relish the heavy ground but will not be partnered by Davy Russell after he has been stood down for the day.
The Willie Mullins trained Tin Soldier makes the market for us – he was also useful over hurdles but I prefer the chasing potential of Monbeg Notorious.
