FRIDAY’S WINNING NAP: One bet, one winner yesterday for SHAMROCK when his NAP Simsir won at Dundalk. He was heavily punted into 4/5 favourite.
Simsir landed the NAP yesterday but I hope you managed to grab earlier prices when he was trading as joint favourite with Dunkirk Harbour.
In the end, he was smashed into 4/5 favourite and was value for much more than the official three quarters of a length winning margin. He only had to be ridden out hands and heels having travelled really well and remains a very exciting prospect.
Irish action from Gowran Park on Saturday and whilst not much of a price the Dermot Weld trained Mia Maria should prove very hard to beat in the 2.35pm.
The filly has just three rivals and will find this much easier than the Group 3 she contested at The Curragh last time out when ninth (only beaten 5 lengths to Goddess).
She had previously won her maiden, also at The Curragh, and this should be a step back in the right direction.
