Ghaamer won well at Cork last night but the odds were much shorter than anticipated. And to think I was hopeful of around 1.9 in the morning !

Punchestown race this afternoon and no doubt Willie Mullins will be looking to continue the excellent work shown at the Festival here.
He has two solid chances too with City Slicker in the opener and Felix Yonger in the beginners chase at 4.20.
On balance I’m going with City Slicker in the opener despite him being an horribly expensive horse to follow since his Fairyhouse bumper win with three defeats at odds of 9/4, 8/15 and 4/9 on his CV.
The switch to a right-handed track track should help his cause today and he is given a final chance.
