BOSTON TO BOSS THEM AT KILBEGGAN: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the three mile maiden hurdle on tonight’s Kilbeggan card.
Joseph O’Brien has made a fantastic start to his new training career across both codes. Very much a case of like father, like son.
He can strike on the jumps again tonight at Kilbeggan with Boston Spray who should only need to reproduce his run at Cork last time out to record a first win over hurdles.
He was only beaten a length and a half by Major Destination and the pair finished nicely clear of the third placed horse Optimised who also runs again here.
Major Destination went on to finish second at Ballinrobe in a better event so the form looks solid enough.
Mozilla had become disappointing but did run much better over course and distance last time out when third to Miss Sapphire. Her 66/1 price tag that day summed up the form she was in prior to that and a similar run here could see her competitive.
