SHAMROCK A 2/1 NAP STAR: SHAMROCK napped a 2/1 winner yesterday with ALPINE STAR (NAP) 2/1 in the Debutante Stakes at The Curragh – followed up by his next best Armory winning the Futurity Stakes at 4/6. TWO BETS : TWO WINNERS from SHAMROCK.
Two out of two on Friday but both were close run victories.
Alpine Star got the better of Petite Mustique in a bobbing finish to the Futurity Stakes whilst Armory was closed on by outsider Rebel Tate in the Futurity Stakes but held on by three quarters of a length for a good day.

Killarney and Kilbeggan race on the flat and jumps respectively on Saturday.
Best bet for me comes in the opener at Killarney at 12.50 where Raven’s Cry can build on the promise of her Galway win. The form of the race has taken a boost and she has Group 1 entries so will need to be winning this in style to pursue those aspirations.
