He won well over this trip on debut at Tipperary and jockey bookings would suggest he is preferred to San Martino who was impressive when losing his maiden tag at Killarney but has been beaten twice in handicap company since. I’m not sure he is up to this level and prefer the potential of Carlisle Bay.
The obvious danger is the Jim Bolger trained Flying Visit whose only win has come on heavy ground and has built up a string of placed efforts.
Given he has struggled to win in lower grades, I wouldn’t be in a rush to back him in Group company.
