EARLY STRIKE FOR AIDAN O’BRIEN: SHAMROCK looks ahead to racing at Naas on Saturday with his best bet coming in the first race on the card at 1.35pm.
Aidan O’Brien should strike early at Naas today with Year Of The Tiger in the opening maiden over seven furlongs.
The two-year-old has raced at quite a high level in his two starts to date. On debut he finished second to Lil Grey at the Curragh – the winner went on to run respectively at Royal Ascot in the Albany Stakes.
Year Of The Tiger went on to run at Royal Ascot himself, finishing seventh in the Chesham Stakes over today’s trip.
This looks much easier and he should see off the challenge from stablemate Mythologic and Joseph O’Brien’s Never Before who was narrowly beaten at Fairyhouse last time out.
