SATURDAY ACTION FROM NAVAN: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Saturday runs in the opener at 2.15.
They race in Ireland at Navan today on expected good to firm ground for their seven race card.
Best bet could well come in the opening maiden at 2.15 over a trip just short of six furlongs.
The race is jam-packed of future improvers but Comhghairdeas sets the bar fairly high.
The Andrew Slattery trained runner chased home Mister Trader on debut at the Curragh and although beaten over four lengths into second the form of the race has worked out well with the winner finishing second in a Listed race subsequently and the third finishing fifth at Royal Ascot.
Magnification is proving costly to follow but should fill the frame again.
