NAVAN NAP: SHAMROCK bids for a hat-trick of winning NAPS with his selection at Navan today.
Dark Vader landed the SHAMROCK NAP at short odds yesterday. The Joseph O’Brien trained Dark Vader was soon pushed into the lead and there were few moments of doubt for the 2/5 shot.
They race at Navan on Saturday and my NAP runs in the closing bumper at 4.10pm.
The Gordon Elliott trained Eskylane should prove worth waiting for.
Having won a Point, he made a promising start for his new stable at Fairyhouse in his first race under Rules back in November. He was only headed close home by Assemble who went on to win over hurdles at Limerick and the third from the race, Appreciate It, has gone on to win a much better bumper at Leopardstown in grand style. In short, the form looks rock solid.
Don’t Tell Allen, half-brother to Next Destination makes his debut for Willie Mullins and might be a bigger danger than Battle Of Actium who was fifth in a Punchestown bumper on his Rules debut.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Eskylane (4.10 Navan)
2020 NAPS: 5/11 +1.04 (to a 1 unit level stake)
