WALK IN THE PARK AT TRAMORE: SHAMROCK’s nap runs in the maiden hurdle tonight at Tramore at 8pm.
Tramore keep the racing show deep into the night and my best bet of the day runs in the maiden hurdle at 8pm.
The Willie Mullins trained Senewalk has shown promise in much better races at Punchestown and should find his rivals here less daunting.
He should also find the drop back in trip to his advantage after seemingly struggling in the closing stages of a three miler last time out when fourth to Tourboy.
He was a winner on the flat in France and follows a well trodden path in terms of good hurdlers for the yard.
Novato hadn’t shown much in two starts over hurdles but was a real eye catcher at Limerick last time out when a seven length fourth to Mr Showtime. He’s up in trip but again gets the faster ground which he seems to prefer and looks the danger.
