SHAMROCK 3/3 WITH NAPS IN 2014: SHAMROCK landed his third winning NAP of the year with Wicklow Brave yesterday. He heads to the opener at Naas on Sunday to try and continue the perfect start.
OK, the prices haven’t been great but it’s still been a 100% record so far in 2014 with the NAPS:
1 Jan LIEUTENANT COLONEL (NAP) WON EVENS
2 Jan NO BET
3 Jan THE FIRM (NAP) WON 8/15
4 Jan WICKLOW BRAVE (NAP) WON 2/5
We head to Naas on Sunday and I’m expecting Moonlight Boy to be the best price in the current sequence of NAPS despite the defection of the well fancied Chute Hall.
Moonlight Boy is a point winner who made a hugely encouraging winning debut under rules when winning a bumper at Cork. He was subsequently purchased by JP McManus and has his first start today for trainer Christy Roche.
The form of his bumper win has worked out particularly well and there’s few in today’s race that can match his potential.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Moonlight Boy (12.30 Naas)
