GROUP 3 ACTION AT CORK: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the Group 3 Munster Oaks Stakes at 3.55 this afternoon.

Aidan O’Brien bids for a hat-trick in the race and relies primarily on Pretty Perfect who is a big class dropper after she beat only one horse home in the Irish 1000 Guineas.
She had previously finished second (although beaten seven and a half lengths) to Dermot Weld’s Zhukova in the Group 3 Blue Wind Stakes at Naas.
She is a confirmed front runner who should go close but maybe thwarted by a Dermot Weld runner again in the shape of the improving Shamreen who is stepped up in class.
She has won her last two races at Gowran Park in fine style and holds another of today’s rivals Siamsaiocht on that form.
