6/4 WINNING NAP: Kastasa kept her winning run going to give SHAMROCK a 6/4 WINNING NAP from his only bet on Saturday in the Vintage Tipple Stakes at Gowran Park.
Kastasa looked in trouble in the Vintage Tipple yesterday but she really battled on well in the closing stages to keep her wining run going and land the SHAMROCK NAP at 6/4.
It hasn’t been the best of Julys for us but hopefully we can finish the month strongly.
We won’t make much inroad into the P&L with Magical in today’s feature, the Tattersalls Gold Cup, as Aidan O’Brien’s mare was hugely impressive in the Pretty Polly Stakes here and should land her third Group 1 in a row.
For the nap, I’ll take a chance on the experience of Palifico being good enough to land the fillies maiden at 2.20.
Jessica Harrington’s runner was only beaten a neck here on debut when nibbled at in the market and would seemingly set the bar at a reasonable level for some smart looking debutants to aim at.
