CURRAGH SUNDAY NAP: SHAMROCK heads to the Curragh on Sunday for his NAP in the 5.25pm.
Group 1 action from the Curragh on Sunday with the Phoenix Stakes which looks wide open and for once, Aidan O’Brien doesn’t appear to have a stranglehold on the race as he goes in search of an incredible 17th win in the race.
A watching race for me and my nap goes in the fillies maiden at 5.25.
Aidan O’Brien has the likely favourite here in So Wonderful but she has had plenty of chances – 14 to be precise and she has gone off favourite on seven of those occasions.
She might well get her day but at the prices I prefer the chance of Lady Anner for Jessica Harrington who showed much more at Gowran Park last time out finishing second to Epona Plays and moving nicely clear of the third.
If she can improve again, she might prove hard to beat.
