Irish racing today from the Curragh and Limerick and the flat very much steps up a gear at the Curragh with the Group 3 Big Bad Bob Gladness Stakes the highlight at 3.50pm.
It’s a wide open renewal of a race that hasn’t exactly been punter friendly recently – Flight Risk popped up at 50/1 last season and Custom Cut was a 25/1 winner in 2013.
Dermot Weld seems to have his string well forward this season and I thought Joailliere looked of interest, win and place on BETDAQ.
She was third in the Park Express Stakes – a Group 3 over a mile here last season – on only her third appearance and is surely likely to improve further this year.
The Listed Alleged Stakes at 4.25 looks at the mercy of the Aidan O’Brien trained Found who is much better than Listed class. This is his first race since beating Golden Horn in the Breeders’ Cup Turf at Keeneland.
