15/8 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK struck on Saturday when his nap and only bet of the day Noble Endeavor WON AT 15/8. Today’s action in Ireland comes from Fairyhouse.
Very pleased with yesterday’s result. Noble Endeavor (NAP) won the final race at Punchestown in some style, in the end, having traded at big odds in running on BETDAQ.
Big race of the day at Fairyhouse is the Underwriting Exchange Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase – a Grade A contest.
Trying to whittle down the 10 strong field is hard but narrow preference has to go to the Sandra Hughes trained Bright New Dawn who often races prominently.
His latest effort saw him run fourth to Twinlight in the Grade 1 Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown which was a good effort after a lengthy absence.
I wanted to be against the Willie Mullins trained Uradel in the opener. Since switching to the jumps he has been soundly beaten at 2/5 and 9/10 and preference today is for the Gordon Elliott trained Hostile Fire who belied odds of 25/1 to run well in second on his jumps debut at Leopardstown.
