SHAMROCK HAS HANDLE ON GALWAY: SHAMROCK landed a winning nap with Broome (WON 4/5) his only bet on Saturday. Now for the final day of the meeting.
A winning nap on Saturday with Broome in the opener at Galway who was slowly away but came through to win convincingly at the line.
The final day of Galway 2018 today and hopefully we can rely on the Dermot Weld trained Queen Mia to come out on top in the seven furlong maiden at 3.20pm.
By his own incredible standards at this meeting, Dermot Weld is below his average, despite three winners so far this week.
Queen Mia made a pleasing racecourse debut at Navan when finishing fifth to Sakura and normal improvement should see her go very close to winning this. The extra trip should certainly help.
The debutants don’t make much appeal at face value and this is certainly one of the weaker contests of the week.
