GALWAY SUNDAY NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Galway for his NAP on Sunday, running in the Annesley Williams Rated Novice Hurdle in the 2.50pm.

The Annesley Williams Rated Novice Hurdle at Galway this afternoon looks a decent contest, dominated by the three Willie Mullins trained runners.

Preference looks to be the Ruby Walsh ridden Karl Der Grosse who looked good when making a winning debut at Tramore in August.

The form doesn’t look exceptional, given that the second and third have been well beaten in subsequent starts, but Karl Der Grosse is sure to improve and is preferred to stable companion Poly Rock who was a wide margin debut winner at Clonmel on heavy ground.

Vinnie The Hoddie won well at Gowran and appreciated the step up in trip but this is much harder.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Karl Der Grosse (2.50 Galway)
