GALWAY FINAL DAY NAP: SHAMROCK found 7/1 Galway Plate winner EARLY DOORS this week and has a final NAP at the meeting today.
A nice strike in the Galway Plate when the next best recommendation Early Doors landed the feature of the week for us at 7/1.
The meeting draws to a close today with a seven race flat card and in the 3.50 Eastern Racer bids to join Princess Zoe and Flying Scotsman as double winners at the 2020 Festival.
For the nap though, I am relying on Willie Mullins’ Buildmeupbuttercup to appreciate the softer conditions in the 1m 6f race at 5.20.
She’s another out again quickly having finished a creditable fifth in the Galway Hurdle on Thursday and looks set to run a big race back on the flat.
Stablemate Rebellito is a non runner and the main danger may come from the Gordon Elliott trained Bigbadandbeautiful who made a winning flat debut over 1m 2f at Roscommon and should have no problem with the extra trip here.
