SHAMROCK STRIKES VEGAS JACKPOT: SHAMROCK landed a winning nap from his only bet on Saturday – Lagostovegas (NAP) who won the opener at Naas in easy fashion.
An easy winning nap yesterday – Lagostovegas travelled well throughout and won by seven and a half lengths.
We get the chance to see the Willie Mullins trained Killultagh Vic strut his stuff again in the Grade 2 novice chase at Leopardstown. He made a winning start to his chasing career with a very easy win at Fairyhouse in December and had plenty of class over hurdles as he proved when winning at the Festival in March. He should take this but will be at very skinny odds.
It’s a good card at Leopardstown and for me the nap on the card is another Mullins trained runner Pylonthepressure in the 1.20. Although beaten (at odds on) at Fairyhouse last time out he finished nicely clear of the third and the winner Tombstone is pretty smart.
