I was taken by the winning debut of Holistic Approach at the Curragh and think he could be seen to even better effect over the 7f trip today.
Jim Bolger’s colt was fancied in the market but towards the rear in the early stages at the Curragh and stayed on to great effect to land the race by half a length from Ice Canyon who previously had solid placed form.
It’s obviously a big step up in class today but the trainer has a good record in the race.
For the danger, Making Light improved on her Dundalk debut to romp home at Limerick in a weak race but is preferred to Spirit Of Valor who won in bottomless ground at Naas.
