SHAMROCK AT LEOPARDSTOWN: SHAMROCK had a successful NAP LAY yesterday and bids to follow up at Leopardstown this afternoon.
The NAP obliged yesterday. I recommended a LAY of Crosshue Boy who finished second at 13/8 but was odds-on at the time of recommendation so it looks as though plenty of punters had the same idea.
There’s a good novice chase on the Leopardstown card this afternoon with only rank outsider Rancher Lass easy to dismiss.
Great Field and Don’t Touch it have both been positive in the morning BETDAQ market with original favourite Identity Thief weak.
It’s not totally surprising given that Identity Thief has failed to complete in his last two starts but will find this company much easier as he takes a big drop in class.
Preference though is for Great Field who seemed to like the chasing game at Gowran Park.
His jumping needs to improve – but thats a caveat that goes with all three of the market principals.
