GET US IN THE BLACK: SHAMROCK’S Sunday NAP runs in the mares hurdle at Limerick this afternoon.
It’s a competitive card at Limerick today but the standout bet for me has to be Black Tears in the mares hurdle at 2.55pm.
The Gordon Elliott trained runner ran a belter at the Cheltenham Festival when fourth to Eglantine Du Seuil in the mares’ novices’ hurdle and but for a bump approaching the last would surely have got into the places.
She’s a consistent sort and is preferred to market rival Cut The Mustard whose only career win came on very testing ground and she finished midfield in the County Handicap Hurdle at the Festival.
