Blow The Doors Off won well enough in the end yesterday although he did drift in running quite markedly on BETDAQ on the approach to the final flight when he looked in trouble.
I’m off to Naas today for a good card, considering the proximity of Cheltenham.
Willie Mullins should win with his final runner before Cheltenham as Lockstockandbarrel looks nailed on in the last but is priced accordingly and trading around 1.3 on BETDAQ. He shaped well on debut when second at Leopardstown.
In the Listed Irish Racing Writers Kingsfurze Novice Hurdle at 3.00 Quickpick Vic looks tempting as he takes a big drop in class.
He couldn’t land a blow in behind Vautour in the Deloitte Novice Hurdle last time out – but that was a Grade 1 and Vautour is the current second favourite on BETDAQ for Tuesday’s Cheltenham opener – the Supreme Novices Hurdle.
