NAVAN BUMPER NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Navan on Sunday for his NAP in the Future Champions Flat Race at 3.10pm.
It’s fair to say that the “Future Champions” INH Flat Race is a race that more than lives up to its name.
Gordon Elliott has an exceptional record in the race, winning the last four renewals including Samcro in 2016 and Envoi Allen last year.
He has a very strong challenger this afternoon in the form of Pencilfulloflead who was impressive on debut at Down Royal, winning a race where there were six previous winners.
He has a strong challenger in the form of Uhtred from Joseph O’Brien’s yard. A Fairyhouse bumper winner last season, he switches back to the flat now after a big run over hurdles at Cork over hurdles.
