Camelia De Cotte should prove hard to beat in the Order Of St George Coolmore NH Sires Irish EBF Mares Novice Chase at Thurles this afternoon.
Trained by Willie Mullins, the mare remains progressive and has relatively few miles on the clock for a seven-year-old.
She seems versatile ground wise and equally as effective over 2m – 2m 4f. Whilst her only defeat of the season came at Graded level, there were mitigating circumstances as she made a bad mistake at Tipperary.
Meri Devie won a beginners chase in grand style at Naas and is probably the biggest threat – even though she is up both in class and distance.
