TIPPERARY NAP: SHAMROCK stays at home on Arc Sunday for his NAP running at Tipperary.
The very best of luck to the Irish challenge on Arc day – especially of course to the big race quartet Harzand, Found, Order Of St George and Highland Reel.
Postponed will be a tough nut to crack but I think Order Of St George has sound win and place claims. It was a major shock to see him beaten at the Curragh but I don’t think this shorter trip is necessarily going to count against him and he has plenty of class.
There’s a good mixed card at Tipperary this afternoon with the feature race on the flat being the Concorde Stakes (Group 3) at 2.10.
Irish 1000 Guineas winner Jet Setting has found life tougher in two subsequent Group 1’s but this is a two step drop in grade and she gets the heavy ground she seems to relish. She is preferred to recent Curragh winner The Happy Prince.
