NAPS HAT-TRICK? SHAMROCK bids for a hat-trick of winning naps on Sunday.
Insayshable made all the running to land the SHAMROCK NAP yesterday at 8/13. The hat-trick bid is on today after Monarch WON 6/4 on Friday.
They race at Fairyhouse (flat) and Tipperary (jumps) on Sunday.
Two first time out winners go head to head in the closing bumper at Tipperary and preference is for Pass Hymn who was very green on debut at Wexford but that didn’t stop him winning in good style and he should be a lot more clued up today.
Thermistocles made a winning debut at Roscommon but it came over 2m 4f and he was staying on in good fashion so it’s slightly surprising to see him stepped back in trip.
The Willie Mullins trained Fabulous Saga also steps back in trip and makes the market in the race. It was disappointing that he was well beaten by a 50/1 chance when a 4/9 chance at Listowel last time out.
