13/8 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK’s NAP flew home yesterday at 13/8. Flight Risk stayed on in grand style to win the Platinum Stakes at Cork.
The good recent run of SHAMROCK NAPS continued yesterday with FLIGHT RISK (NAP) WON 13/8 in the Listed Platinum Stakes at Cork.
Jumps action on Sunday at Tramore. Blackhillsofdakota looks an interesting hurdling debutant in the maiden hurdle at 2.40pm.
He won a Listed bumper at Limerick in March before disappointing in the Grade 2 bumper at the Aintree Festival. This looks a realistic starting level.
The main danger is clearly Mooltazem who has the benefit of a recent run and a solid one at that. His third to Brog Ahaon at Kilbeggan looks decent enough in the context of the race but all three of his wins on the flat came on ground no slower than good.
