Laurina won pretty much as her starting price indicated yesterday but I’m not sure she wins a Champion Hurdle on that form. On the flip side you need to counter that with Willie Mullins stating that she missed a week of work she very much needed the run yesterday.
It does mean though that it’s now 8 WINNING NAPS IN A ROW !!!
I’m sticking with Willie Mullins for the nap today and Real Steel in the opener at Thurles.
A good class hurdler, he got his act together over fences at Fairyhouse last time out with a smooth 10 length success making up for his unlucky fall at the last on chasing debut at Leopardstown.
Despite the small field, this will be a much tougher test. Jett won this last year but hasn’t been showing much sparkle recently and the biggest danger is likely to be Moon Over Germany – although this one would have been held by Real Steel if he hadn’t of fallen at Leopardstown.
