2/1 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a 2/1 WINNING NAP from his only bet on day two of the Cheltenham Festival yesterday.
After the heartache of Tuesday’s last flight faller it was great to land a winning nap from the only bet on Wednesday when Envoi Allen battled on well to win the Champion Bumper at 2/1 (and pictured above).
Today looks Tough with a capital T. Feature race on the card is the Sun Racing Stayers’ Hurdle at 3.30 and Paisley Park is a favourite that has been very well backed so far on BETDAQ.
Hopefully Faugheen will run well – it’s hard to put him up as a bet though after his crushing fall at Leopardstown last time out and it remains to be seen what that has done to his confidence.
It might well be a tougher day for the Irish challenge but for a sporting nap I’ll go win and place on Any Second Now in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Amateur Riders’ Handicap Chase at 5.30pm.
Top amateur Derek O’Connor is onboard and the Ted Walsh trained runner warmed up for this with a good third in the Ladbrokes Acca Boosty Ten Up Novice Chase at Navan and can see out the extra trip here.
