5 OUT OF 6 NAPS: SHAMROCK bids to continue his good run of recent NAPS with a bet in the final race at Clonmel tonight.
The best bet at Clonmel tonight may come in the concluding Knockanrawley Maiden at 8.20pm.
It looks a really weak contest and at the mercy of the Ellmarie Holden trained Lachares who has two soft ground hurdles wins to his name at Gowran Park and Limerick.
He seemed to handle faster ground well enough last time out at Cork when third in a handicap hurdle over 2m 3f so I’m hopeful there will be no issues on either the stamina or going categories tonight.
Supreme Vinnie makes his debut under the flat code but has plenty of experience over jumps.
He was well beaten over three miles at Fairyhouse last time out but that came on the back of a break and he should be much more competitive over this shorter trip.
He won a bumper here back in 2015.
