Clonmel looks quite trappy today and with a sequence to preserve I’m playing safe with Hardline in the 3.25pm.
In the absence of stablemate Roaring Bull he now looks to have an easy task, although the odds will reflect that.
He relished the testing ground when winning by 10 lengths at Wexford last time out and this race doesn’t look any tougher.
The opposition includes Flemenstar, now a 12-year-old, who has had a fantastic career but will surely struggle on his seasonal reappearance against his younger rival?
