A good card at Clonmel on Thursday and the best bet might well be Batcio in the beginners chase at 1.45pm.
Trained by Ted Walsh, the seven-year-old has had three starts over fences and his Wexford third was probably good enough form to land this race which is high on numbers but low on credible rivals.
The problem is that he is coming here on the back off a poor run at Naas in much better company so needs to bounce back.
