LAST MINUTE SELECTION: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the Cork card on Thursday with yet another Mullins/Elliott battle taking place.
Last Minute Man might be the value against hot favourite Antey in the two and a half mile maiden hurdle at Cork (3.40pm) this afternoon.
Gordon Elliott couldn’t be in better form and his Last Minute Man looks a nice prospect having made a winning debut in a bumper in Down Royal back on January last year. Fitness though is unlikely to be a factor.
The Willie Mullins trained Antey has had a little more experience and only went down by a neck to Dis Donc at Navan last time out but at around 1.65 on BETDAQ doesn’t make great appeal against an unexposed runner with bags of potential from the Elliott yard.
