SHAMROCK LANDS ‘BANKER’ NAP: SHAMROCK named Courage Under Fire as a ‘banker’ NAP at Naas yesterday – it won at 10/11.
Courage Under Fire landed the NAP and only bet on Wednesday – but only narrowly.
I described him as a rare ‘banker’ NAP but he only got home by half a length in the end to beat Porto Ferro.
Early start at the Curragh on Thursday with their eight race card underway at 12.55pm.
Best bet on the card could be Khukri in the opener.
The Jessica Harrington trained runner has shown distinct promise in both starts here at the Curragh and should make it third time lucky.
This looks his easiest task to date with biggest danger likely to come from Presidential who should improve for his Leopardstown debut.
