FAIRYHOUSE ON THURSDAY: SHAMROCK looks ahead to Fairyhouse on Thursday evening with a nap in the 7.20pm.
Several short priced favourites on tonight’s Fairyhouse card, not least of which the Aidan O’Brien trained Battle Of Jericho in the four runner six furlong sprint at 6.20pm, not surprising really given he has 28lb in hand of his rivals !!!
At slightly more realistic punting odds, Excelling Spirit looks to have a cracking chance in the six furlong maiden at 7.20pm.
She made an excellent debut at the Curragh finishing second to Arcanears and even though the form hasn’t been particularly boosted since she should still improve sufficiently to land this.
Elegant Drama is the danger, even though she already has a slightly more exposed profile.
She showed speed over seven furlongs at Cork last time out and now tries the six furlong trip for the first time.
