PENALTY KICK AT KILLARNEY: Aidan O’Brien’s Blenheim Palace should prove hard to beat in the 5.10 tonight.
Blenheim Palace looks something of a penalty kick at Killarney tonight in the 5.10 race – part of a mixed card.
The Aidan O’Brien trained, Donnacha O’Brien ridden, three-year-old is the clear form book pick and should find this much easier than tasks set of late.
His fourth in the Ballyroan Stakes (Group 3) at Leopardstown reads really well in the context of this race.
Main danger is Loveisthehigherlaw who was backed on debut (25/1 into 12/1) before making a winning debut at Cork.
This looks much tougher and the fact she has been off the course for 104 days is a concern but she should improve for the step-up in trip. Taking on Blenheim Palace however is likely to be a bridge too far.
