NOW FIVE WINNING NAPS OUT OF SEVEN: SHAMROCK landed his nap again yesterday. Raymonda was a place nap at Fairyhouse and she dead-heated for third. XSP was 23.91 and she paid around 3.9 for the place.
It was the seven horse race that had four place returns on BETDAQ !!
The featured Group 2 Brownstown Stakes at Fairyhouse last night was originally declared with eight runners but Rehana was a non runner however the three places still stood on BETDAQ for the remaining seven runners.
My nap was a place bet on Raymonda who started a massive 23.91 on the BETDAQ XSP but around 3.9 on the place.
She did get a place, third, but to complicate matters further she dead-heated for the third so we need to half our stake !!
All in all, it equated to round about a 10/11 winner in old money to make it five winning naps from last seven:

There’s a good mixed card at Tipperary tonight and Ivan Grozny should proved hard to beat again in the Grade 3 Grimes Hurdle at 7.20 – the race he won last year by 11 lengths.
He didn’t do much in two subsequent starts but in fairness one of them came in the Irish Champion Hurdle!
Mullins also runs last season’s Galway Hurdle winner Clondaw Warrior who finished down the field at Belmont Park on the flat last month and conditions might just be a but quick for him tonight over the minimum trip.
