THURLES ON THURSDAY: SHAMROCK looks ahead to this afternoon’s card at Thurles which gets underway at 2.15 with a short priced favourite.
A plethora of short priced favourites on the Thurles card this afternoon, none more so than Miss Dinamic in the opener who should only need to jump round to defy top weight. Backers are currently quite happy to take around 1.23 on BETDAQ about her chances.
Another small field in the maiden hurdle at 3.15 and the only debutant Buyer Beware must have a leading chance in a race where it’s hard to summon up much enthusiasm for those who have run. Buyer Beware, trained by Jessica Harrington, was a winner on the flat and may prove a good option against current odds-on favourite Le Vagabond who fell on his hurdling debut.
Dani Theatre looks the nap on the card in the closing bumper. She looked every inch a prospective winner when third on debut at Clonmel and this looks a very weak event on paper.
