SHAMROCK HAT-TRICK? SHAMROCK bids for a NAPS hat-trick on Thursday with the resumption of racing in Ireland at Thurles.
Thurles stage the first day of racing in Ireland since Leopardstown on Sunday when my NAP Great Field was successful at 15/8.
That followed up the successful lay on Saturday so fingers crossed for the NAPS hat-trick today.
The ground is heavy ahead of the seven race card.
There’s a big field for the maiden hurdle at 3.00 but as often is the case the race doesn’t look as competitive as the numbers might suggest.
White Lilac looks to have an outstanding chance. The Henry de Bromhead trained mare finished a course and distance second on her debut here to the odds on Good Thyne Tara in a race where the big field finished well strung out.
Aint Dunne Yet drops back in distance having struggled over two and a half miles in his last two races but still looks the biggest danger and will find this easier than the Punchestown race he contested last time out.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: White Lilac (3.00 Thurles)
