THURLES NAP: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Thursday runs in the maiden hurdle on the Thurles card.
Keeping things hopefully simple today with Eclair De Beaufeu in the maiden hurdle at Thurles.
The Gordon Elliott trained runner looks to have an obvious chance and should only really need to repeat his run at Cork the last day to take this.
He was beaten three lengths by Sams Profile at Cork but the winner looks useful and he finished 16 lengths clear of the third, in what was a big field.
He should outclass his rivals here and be able to give the weight away – he picks up a penalty for his bumper victories in France.
Those with form haven’t shown much, so it’s possible the biggest danger could come from the Joseph O’Brien trained debutant The Moyglass Flyer who has an eye-catching pedigree.
