BUMPER NAP AT THURLES: SHAMROCK’s NAP on Thursday runs in the final race on the Thurles card at 4.10pm.
Nina Carberry is usually a good option in the bumper sphere and I’m hoping that will be the case again today in the final race at Thurles.
She is onboard the Noel Meade trained Mr Showtime who made a respectable debut at Roscommon when third to Monbeg Worldwide.
It was bottomless ground that day and the better ground today should suit.
The obvious danger is Carrigready who was second in a big field at Clonmel on debut. The form of that race though may be modest judged by the subsequent exploits of the third and fourth.
Hardline represents Gordon Elliott and this one was slightly disappointing when favourite and third at Fairyhouse last time out.
