BIDDING FOR NAPS HAT-TRICK: SHAMROCK bids for a NAPS HAT-TRICK on Thursday following on from Seventh Heaven (NAP) WON 9/10 on Monday and Master Of Verse (NAP) WON 10/11 yesterday.
Well the naps are getting bigger in price – only just !!
Master Of Verse recorded an easy first success over timber when landing the opener at Fairyhouse yesterday.
I’m not sure, despite his eight and a half length triumph, that I’d be rushing in to back him again as it was an exceptionally poor contest.
They race at Tipperary on Thursday and the ground is sure to be testing for the mixed card.
The two maiden hurdles have attracted plenty of entries and best bet on the card might be Call It Magic in the three miler at 7.40pm.
This will be really attritional and Call It Magic has already proved he can handle the conditions.
He was an odds on second to A Genie In A Bottle over this trip at Naas last time which wasn’t such a disappointment. He finished well clear of the rest of the field and was beaten by what could be a promising unexposed sort who was making his hurdling debut after winning a Naas bumper.
