5.5 TRAMORE NAP: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Thursday runs in the opener at Tramore and is currently trading at around 5.5 on BETDAQ.
Tramore’s card looks tough punting territory today, although Slemish looks a little over-priced to me in the opener at around 5.5.
He was a well beaten fourth at Down Royal on his only start under rules but that came over two and a half miles and I think this drop back to two miles will suit him perfectly.
He had previously shown plenty of promise in point to points, winning two races by five lengths and then 10 lengths and remains a horse of potential – unlike some of his more exposed rivals.
Figurative and Henry Howard dispute the market but both have so far proved hard to win with and Figurative has a lengthy break to overcome.
Henry Howard represents Mullins and Walsh and steps down dramatically in trip having finished fourth over three miles at Bellewstown last time out.
